South Slough and Coastal Frontal Watersheds

Introduction
The State of the Watersheds assessment is a summarization of data that describe the environmental and socioeconomic conditions in Coos Bay’s South Slough and Coastal Frontal watersheds (see map on right).

The first attempt to compile these data into a summary report was completed in November 2012 and can be viewed by clicking on the section titles presented above. The entire document can also be downloaded (see below).

The State of the Watersheds assessment is intended to be updated periodically to give our community a dynamic resource with which to track the health of our community and watersheds over time. We welcome contributions to this effort from community members, scientists and non-scientists alike, interested in offering additional information.
